Lifelong Learning by Rachel Baltazar
Hi Catherine, I was reviewing your website’s wonderful resources and I loved it!
I’m with OnlineCourses.com and I’m reaching out because we recently improved our site to pull together the best free subject-based online classes offered by renowned universities across the United States! [Click here for examples.]
The reason behind OnlineCourses.com (and why I can say I LOVE what I do) is helping people in their quest for lifelong learning. Education should not be restricted to age, status, or subject. I know for myself, I have interests in other subjects like nutrition, but couldn’t necessarily dedicate college studies to it. So, it is encouraging that schools are leveraging technology in a way that allows people the opportunity to feed their intellectual curiosity. I think the excitement is contagious as a wide range of sites have already shared our resource, here are a few examples:
1. Connecticut Education Network, http://cen.ct.gov/cen/cwp/view.asp?a=4309&q=507168, listing us as “Online Courses”
2. United State District Court, Nebraska, http://www.ned.uscourts.gov/probation/client-resources/education, listing us as “Free College Course Materials Online”
About us: OnlineCourses.com was developed to help learners fully exploit the rapidly-expanding (massive) open online courses (MOOCs) now available. Open online education is a true game changer, bringing information and skills to millions of learners thirsting for knowledge and seeking the opportunity to better themselves and expand their horizons.
